I am Robert D Flach, the chief tax professional of TAXPRO SERVICES CORPORATION.  I just completed my 37th "tax season"!

Over the years I have prepared individual and business tax returns for people in all walks of life, from professional football players and actors to doctors and architects to secretaries and clerks.

I am the author of all the content on this website, as well as all the content of THE WANDERING TAX PRO weblog, THE FLACH REPORT blog for Schedule C filers, the ASK THE TAX PRO blog, the NJ TAX PRACTICE BLOG for NJ tax pros, and various reports, booklets, newsletters, articles and columns on federal and state tax planning and preparation.

I have also written articles and columns for the NATP quarterly TAX PRO JOURNAL and the TAX ALMANAC website.

As a tax professional and writer and lecturer on tax planning and preparation I must keep up-to-date on all the latest changes in the tax laws.

I am a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and National Society of Tax Professionals, and, as such, take full advantage of each organization's local and national continuing education programs and have access to its research departments.

I have a BA degree in Accounting and a MA degree in Taxation from Columbia Pacific University.

As a client, you receive the benefit of my education, knowledge and experience.

I was associated for many years with the tax practice of my "mentor" James P. Gill, which I took over upon Jim's retirement.

I was born and raised and, with the exception of brief periods of residence in New Rochelle NY and Summit, Millburn, Stirling and Warren NJ, have lived most of my life in the heights section of Jersey City, New Jersey.

After the "tax season" is over, I enjoy travel via all methods (bus, train, ship and plane) and going to the theatre (local, regional, off-Broadway and Broadway).
